The film is based on a journey through Spain by 3 intimate friends – Kabir,Imran and Arjun.Their trip turns out to be a turn around in their lifes.During their journey they discuss,confront about their past,come to terms with their present and designed themselves a new future.Through out the film they are engaging in different sports like deep sea diving , sky diving.Kabir ( Abhay Deol ) is the son of a contractor.He is engaged to Natasha (Kalki Koechlin).Farhan Akhtar ( Imran ) plays the role of an advertising copywriter.Arjun ( hrithik roshan ) is a financial broker, very keen on his work.Katrina Kaif plays the role of Laila , a mixed Indian-English girl.
The location of the film – Spain is marvelous.The story somewhat fails to attain its pace during certain moments.Eventhough Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar managed to develop a decent story.The story tried to create the mood of “Dil Chahta Hai” , but ended at a distance very far from it.The senorita song seems to be wonderful.the background score is awesomw- thanks to Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
Hrithik shows us what natural acting is all about.Abhay too played his part well.Farhan – as expected “mantally sick”. Kalki Koechlin acts as a possessive lover in the film.Katrina as usual,always upto her expectations.
Verdict : Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a celebration of life,friendship in all senses.Go for it.
