In India Cricket and Cinema are the mainstays of the populace. In an explosive endeavor, these twin passions of Indians will be combined in the Celebrity Cricket League, which is going to be even bigger than IPL. The Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi film fraternities will be joining together in a cricket league to entertain the audience like never before.
Scheduled to begin on June 4th, 4 teams will play six league matches which will culminate in a super final clash at Hyderabad on the 12th of June. South Indian film artistes’ association President, Mr. Sarath Kumar and his team has been instrumental in bringing about this monumental undertaking. In addition to entertaining, CCL will draw attention to the evil that is piracy which is robbing so many of their livelihoods.
The Chennai Rhinos will be lead by Suriya and the team will be unveiled today in a grand function. Others in the team are Sarath Kumar, Jithan Ramesh, Arya, Bharath, Jayam Ravi, Abbas, Madhavan, Shyam, Vishal, Vikranth, Shanthanu, Ramana, Vishnu, Karthik Kumar, and Mirchi Shiva.
