Billa 2 , the sequel to the super hit film “Billa” has began.Currently Ramoji Film City,Hyderabad is the shooting location.Other shooting locations are Goa, Pondichery,Bangkok and Thailand.The schedule will continue till July end.The film is shooted using an EPIC RED Camera which has about 5k resolution.
Actor Ajith Kumar is playing the title role “ David Billa “. This is his 51st film.Chakri Toleti is the director of this gangster based film. Mumbai girls Huma Qureshi and Bruna Abdullah appears in the female lead roles.The film tells the story of how an unimportant ordinary man from Tamil Nadu coastal region becomes the underworld Don – Billa.The film will be an early 2012 release.
Yuvan Shankar Raja will arrange the music and background score for the film. R.D.Rajasekhar is the cinematographer of the film.The expected budget for the film is around 35 crores.Actor Prabhu will appear as DSP Jayaprakash in the film. Rahman and Bollywood actor Sudhanshu Pandey are also included in the cast list.
