Leila Lopes from Angola was crowned as the 2011 Miss Universe in a ceremony conducted at Brazil.Vasuki Sunkavalli from India failed to get into final 16.Olesya Stefanko from Ukraine was the first runner up , while Priscila Machado finished in third spot.Beauties from 89 countries participated in the pageant.The perfomances in the event was lead by Brazilian jazz singers Claudia Leitte and Bebel Gilberto.
