Shahid Kapoor or Ranbir Kapoor will be Prince Chandragupta Maurya in UTV Pictures new film

UTV Motion pictures had already approached Shahid or Ranbir to portray the role of Prince Chandragupta Maurya in their upcoming project.The film will be based on Ashwin Sanghi's book " Chanakya's Chant".They are searching for an young bollywood star to prove his acting abilities.The film takes place in an ancient medieval era.Official confirmations are not yet out.According to rumours, Shahid is the top contender.
